Podofilox trearment for warts on two-year old?
Q. My daughter has warts on her forehead and eyelid. I went to the dermatologist and was given Podofilox, .5% solution. I have gone through one cycle with her so far and I am concerned with how her skin appears. It is extremely reddish/purplish and flaky. My daughter tells me that it does not hurt. I was wondering if any other moms or dads have used Podofilox for their children and what your experiences have been with it. The only reason I am treating the warts is because they have spread onto her eyelid. (and no, I am not putting the Podofilox on her eyelids. But rather I am tryng to keep them from continuing to spread. Also, the derm told me if we treat the others on her forehead, her immune system might be able to kick the ones on her… [cont.]

Has anyone used Aldara to treat Genital Warts and had sucess?
Q. I've had HPV for about 3years. I have very small warts which I have had frozen 3x, used nystatin, retin-a, podofilox, garlic, vitamins, banana peel, apple cider vinegar, and getian violet on and nothing makes them go away. I've been to 3 dermantologist, 1 urologist, and 2 doctors and tried all recommendations even from random people but to no avail they dont go away. I recently visited another dermantologist who prescribed aldara for me. I wondered if anyone who has used this medication for genital warts could verify whether or not it worked for them

A. yes it works!!! I have 2 friends that used it and it worked for them. One friend- he tried everything had surgery to remove them, saw several doctors and nothing worked... finally he got aldera and hes been clear since!!! My other friend- she has some frozen off and tried changing her diet not drinking ...everything... and then she got aldera and it worked for her as well! just make sure you follow the directions! it can burn your skin... so make sure you wash it off in the morning! good luck :)
